Hello there in this Blog, we're going to take a look at how
to turn off wifi calling notifications. At least how you can silence
it. Now first let's swipe down at the top and tap on the Settings icon. In
settings tap on apps and then one mute key up here and choose show system apps
and you can either go down to the Wi-Fi app. So try to find Wi-Fi calling. So
I'll go down and Wi-Fi calling tap on Wi-Fi calling. Then go down and tap on
notifications and tap on Wi-Fi calling and in here tap on notification style
and you can choose silent and minimize. So that will silence your Wi-Fi
notification and it will minimize as well. So any notification will be silent
and minimize for Wi-Fi calling, so go back here and again down here. You got
another Wi-Fi calling tap on that yes the moment except to sale so again choose
silent and minimize and then you can just tap on the back key and that's it so
that's how you can at least turn off if you can't turn off then you can at
least set a silence and minimize and that's it.
This is another really quick for anybody that has a 1 + 7 Pro and
you use carrier that supports Wi-Fi calling and you like to turn that off maybe
for a couple of reasons like you have a weak Wi-Fi connections or you don't use
Wi-Fi so much, just like I don’t and so you would like to turn it off. Because
you want to use your mobile network for calls instead of the Wi-Fi. So here's
how you do it you scroll down swipe down I'm sorry swipe down on your status
bar and then on your left hand corner. It should say the carrier that you are
using and Wi-Fi calling. If it is turned on which it is by default once you get
to that you click on that and then it should take you to your slim and network
settings. Once you get there you make sure you check which slim you on which
seems like you have your carrier SIM card and formed the same number, same slot
one with my T-Mobile SIM card in it. You click on that and then right scroll
down a little bit and then you will see it says voLTE, which is turned on now
right underneath. How to turn off wifi calling. That it says Wi-Fi
calling and there's a toggle for on and off. Now you can completely disable it,
as I did here, or enable it, but you can tap call settings and then select
Wi-Fi preferred or mobile preferred. Which I don’t know depending on which
network you want to use for calls so you know. In this case I'll just turn it
off, because I'm usually connected to a very weak and for signal Wi-Fi network.
So yeah that's how you do it so if this “Blog” helped you out please share this
post and comment below.

Today
we’re going to be talking about Wi-Fi callings. Before we get started I just
want to make sure that we're clear Wi-Fi calling in this context is Call from
any phone number you receive through your carrier, not through apps like Skype
or WhatsApp or Face Time through your carrier. That you could call a phone
number two phone number. So with that let’s go ahead and get started Wi-Fi
calling is a feature that most cell phone carriers today offer. how to
turn on wifi calling. . That allows you to make a phone call through
your Wi-Fi connection at home. Rather than through a cell tower and while the
feature is called Wi-Fi calling. The feature extends to messages so you can
also send text messages and multimedia messages to other people while you
‘reconnected to Wi-Fi even if you don’t have cell service most carriers enable
Wi-Fi calling at no additional cost and most don't even require that you have
the feature enabled on your account or they enable it for you by default.
After
all this makes your call quality go up and it takes the stress off of their
towers. So it's a win-win for both parties the best part of Wi-Fi calling is
that once you've got it enabled you don’t have to mess with the settings
anymore. If you enter a zone that has Wi-Fi and the Wi-Fi is fast enough your phone
will detect that automatically in the background. how to turn on wifi
calling. . It'll enable Wi-Fi calling it it’ll route those calls over
Wi-Fi. So you might be wondering why I would need Wi-Fi calling. Well if you're
like who works in a giant concrete building and concrete buildings are not very
well known for having good cell phone service.
Now
I bet you're wondering how do we enable Wi-Fi calling well let's go ahead and
let's get started I'm going to pick up my phone and we'll jump right in. I'm
going to go ahead and open the Settings app on my phone about halfway down my
screen. how to turn on wifi calling. . I see cellular I'm
going to go ahead and I'm going to tap that and you'll see I've got a few
options here at the top to turn cellular data off. I can have roaming on but
what I'm really I'm interested in the Wi-Fi calling feature, so using Wi-Fi
calls on this phone makes and receives Wi-Fi calls through your “Mobile
Operator” account. T-Mobile is my carrier I'm going to go ahead and I’m going to
flip this switch on and it says when you join a network information about the
country where the network connection is may be sent to your carrier. All right
so I'm going to go ahead and read that I'm going to enable that and now Wi-Fi
calling is turned on. So I can tell that my phone is on Wi-Fi calling.
When
I look in the upper left-hand corner of the screen and I see the name of my
carrier and Wi-Fi after it that tells me that I'm connected tomy carrier but
over my Wi-Fi rather than through this cell tower. If you're on a call with
Wi-Fi calling and you have to leave home. Wi-Fi calls automatically switch from
Wi-Fi to mobile without asking for Wi-Fi there are no toggles no buttons no
settings to mess with. so it's super easy one thing to note your carrier may
ask for your physical address while you’re performing setup. That's because
when you call emergency services they want to be able to route you to the
nearest dispatcher. So that's Wi-Fi calling in a nutshell. if you liked this
