And show you the two different variations so there's some white paint on here. On my palette knife wipe my palette knife with a ragged some red paint. Just get some white paint there a tiny bit of red paint mix it up. So we're going to put some this is a bit of a bit light. But I’m just going to show you how it looks like. Okay, now we're going to go a bit darker bit more read a little bit darker again. And go a bit darker well it's almost dark pretty dark pink ingot light pink medium pink and dark pink.

So what I’m going to do now is I’m going to use magenta. I’m going to show you the differences in the colors. Just start off with some magenta this is not a very dark magenta. But it’ll do a smidgen of this magenta paint on the back paint on the paper a furious bit more. But a little bit more okay add a bit more. We're going to make that a real dark now so we're almost getting dark pink now okay maybe more.

Okay so we've got, you know this esthete red and the whites and this is the magenta and whites. So you can see that there's a vast difference in mixing. how to make pink. These different primary colors anyway so I hope you like my article if you like my article. We go back to these and start looking at the individual colors and changing. The values of these and start looking at maybe some pinks and the different variances. You can get it if you take cat or red and add white to it that's going to get you quite a clear pink depending on.

How much weight you put into it you can reduce the intensity of that a lot. If you go if you add a little cat yellow to that you're going to get a great peach color. All these if you just want it for a little highlight somewhere it's a great color. If you have fruit that pears apples peach anything that's got a little yellow tinge to it. And you want to add that you've got a beautiful clear peach color.

So you know the saturation about is going to be good. We got the same with alizarin crimson you look at alizarin crimson. And that's got some violet in it or some blue in it. So it’s you’re going to get more of a violet tinge to that and a lot of times. You can see in the colors when you add white totem you'll see some of their undertones coming through. Now the pink that you get with alizarin crimson is obviously very different than the one. You'll get it and you can see where the Vosges violet. Those blue undertones are coming through with the ultra with the alizarin crimson. how to make pink. If I add a little white further way to that to pale it down even more to reduce the values. Still going to come up with a really acceptable pink it’s quite beautiful. If I go in again I know it has a little bit of violet in it or a little bit of blue in that alizarin crimson.

So if I use a little lemon yellow because I know lemon yellow has a little blue in it. As well so my peach value is going to change again and it’s going to be more compatible with that color. So I'm going to keep the intensity of that color again you can see the difference in the peach. I can go further with that alizarin crimson mix the whiter value. I can increase that peach to sort of getting it up to the values that we looked at with the previous color. You're still not going to get the same peach effect. It's just going to have a more violet undertone to it so the bias as you know the bias of your paint. In the original primary paint, you can choose your colors carefully. And ensure that you keep the most saturated values and try to avoid grayed-out colors. Unless of course, you want them we’ll try the third color mix with permanent rose a permanent rose, and white. And that's going to give us a beautiful pink again it's looking. Because it has a lot of violet into it. It's going to behave some similarities to the alizarin crimson and the white. And if we look at it there but it has a stronger vibrancy.

It is a more saturated pink purple. If we go the same way looking at the most complementary color to put that with which would be lemon yellow. The lemon yellow has a little blue in it and we know that the permanent rose has a little blue in it. These are going to be the best colors to mix to go for a peach. A strong peach mix and that can be very intense so under that you're going to get something. That's maybe similar to the original cadmium red and cadmium yellow mix.
